Speech Pathologist; Center child development , Day shift

Position Summary

To provide quality goal‑directed Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning to pediatric patients in a variety of age groups with cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disabilities. Pediatric oral motor/feeding experience is required.

Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, Communication Disorders or related areas from an accredited college or university.

No previous experience required.

Current certification by the American Association of Speech‑Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ASHA) in Speech‑Language Pathology or equivalent preferred. Maintains current state of New Jersey license in Speech‑Language Pathology. May be a CFY candidate. Ability to perform work accurately and give attention to details. Ability to use effective critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job‑related responsibilities.

Ability to communicate and interact with the health‑system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members. Ability to function competently in a changing work environment related to changing patient needs.

Functional supervision of clinical activities on the part of Speech‑Language Pathology Graduate Students, Clinical Fellows, or Rehabilitation Aides.

Salary:
Pay Range: $42.30 - $52.88 per hour. Actual individual salaries vary depending on these factors. The salary listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
