Intake Coordinator at Local Infusion. This full-time, onsite role is located in Paramus, NJ. The Infusion Guide will contribute to the company’s growth through detailed referral and intake coordination along with excellent customer and physician customer service. The Infusion Guide will ensure patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. This role is ideal for those wishing to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation with predictable hours and a manageable workload.
Basepay
$24.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Responsibilities- Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtain authorizations, provide financial counseling, and conduct benefit investigations
- Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation required for treatment and communicate patient status
- Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric manner
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
- Participate in a dedicated 6-week training plan to help you succeed in the role
- Passion for patient care and delivering exceptional patient experiences
- Healthcare experience required
- Prior infusion experience preferred
- Insurance prior authorization experience
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Overall medical insurance experience
- Ability to quickly grasp new applications
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Salary starting at $25/hr
