Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a hospital-based cardiac interventional radiology assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and call participation.
Responsibilities- Position is in an interventional radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule available as either 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Call required one night per week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM and one weekend every four weeks from Friday 7:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM
- Candidates must reside or temporarily relocate within 30 minutes of the facility to take call
- Duties include performing specialized interventional cardiac radiology procedures
- Strict vaccination policy with no medical or religious exemptions
- Both 4x10 and 5x8 schedule accommodations available for flexibility
- Must have ARRT (R) certification in hand
- BLS and ACLS required by start date
- NJ State Radiography License required (can be obtained within 1-2 weeks if not currently held)
- License required if applicable
- COVID-19 vaccines and booster are required; no exemptions allowed
