Job Summary
The Director of the Molecular Genomics Lab directs, establishes, and plans the policies and goals for the laboratory services. Work closely with staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. The Director of Next Generation Sequencing Lab is responsible for overseeing all Laboratory services. Ensures the Laboratories provide optimal services; meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements;

and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the organization. The Director of the Molecular Genomics Lab will function in a primary consulting role for the lab as well as all shared Laboratory services within the lab.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in MT/CLS
ASCP certification
Meet the CLIA 88 Testing Personnel qualification requirements for a High Complexity Testing Laboratory
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with management experience preferred including Hematology and molecular specialties. Previous development and practice experience in quality assurance, TQM, SPC, CQI, and Clinical Pathways preferred.
