Job Description & Responsibilities
  • People Development:
    • Onboard new hires and transfers properly, ensuring they are fully acclimated to operational, service, and knowledge functions.
    • Hold teams accountable to high standards, leading by example and educating each member.
    • Identify high‑potential baristas for future leadership development.
  • Operational Standards:
    • Execute all existing and new operational standards as prescribed.
    • Assist with training teams on new menu items and operational roll‑outs, ensuring proper follow‑ups.
    • Maintain Department of Health compliance and readiness for inspections.
    • Ensure quality standards through taste checks, FIFO rotation, and visual appeal.
    • Keep stores immaculate, organized, and well merchandised at all times.
  • Service Standards:
    • Co‑work with teams to model 5‑star service and a guest‑first mentality.
    • Coach on managing customer concerns and issues.
    • Be the “Mayor” of the store group, building personal relationships with frequent customers.
    • Collect business cards and email addresses to grow a grassroots marketing database.
    • Minimize guest complaints and respond to online reviews, exceeding expectations.
  • Facilities & Maintenance:
    • Clean, service, and maintain all equipment and fixtures.
    • Lead monthly deep‑cleaning meetings.
    • Address major plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other facility concerns promptly.
  • HR Management:
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and communicate changes to the team.
    • Maintain regular employee conversations, ensuring concerns are heard and addressed.
    • Collaborate with Store Leader or Multi‑Unit Leader on coaching, warnings, and terminations with proper documentation.
  • Financial Performance:
    • Manage controllable profit areas: sales, labor, and COGS.
    • Build customer relationships and pursue revenue outside of the 4‑walls.
    • Create efficient schedules based on sales data.
    • Reconcile payroll, cash handling, and inventory/waste levels, keeping COGS targets.
    • Complete monthly inventory counts accurately.

  • Hands‑on role: work alongside teams to drive revenue, efficiency, and profitability; set a strong example.
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain regular communication with Store Leader or Multi‑Unit Leader to provide proactive solutions.
