We are hiring a Registered Nurse Manager I for a client in Paramus, NJ

• Implement plans, develop, direct, and evaluate infection prevention within the facility.
• Investigate infection control problems and arrange follow‑up care for residents exposed to infectious diseases.
• Responsible for surveillance, tracking, and reporting of infections and/or outbreaks.
• Conduct rounds, discussing and monitoring infection control practices with staff.
• Collect infection data from departments and maintain records for each case.
• Train staff on implementation of infection control practices.
• Investigate incidents of infection and report such incidents to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure availability of supplies required for infection control.
• Oversee and implement all COVID‑19 policies, prevention programs, and follow NJDOH and CDC guidelines for the facility.
• Develop education programs in response to infection control needs identified through Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement, rounding, and core quality measures.
• Conduct ongoing surveillance using CDC infection criteria, documentation, and investigation of hospital‑acquired infections through review of admission diagnoses, microbiology culture results, isolation orders, patient records, and consultation requests.
• Conduct environmental rounds in all inpatient areas weekly.
• Participate in quality assurance performance improvement activities by assessing, monitoring, and measuring hospital‑acquired infections and evaluating outcomes on a continuous basis.
• Serve as a knowledgeable and available resource on infection control practices and policies to patients, families, and staff.

• Registered Nurse with Infection Control experience.
• CIC – Certificate for Infection Control Prevention is required.

• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Can be discussed)
• Lunch hours (unpaid): 30 minutes
