WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Endoscopy Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Bergen County, NJ.
Job Function:

• Day Shift.

• 4x10.

• Organizing and preparing exam rooms, knowledge of medication, pre-op and post op steps, providing surgical assistance, medication control lists, documenting accurately and timely information regarding patient conditions.

• Direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses

• Collaborates with surgeons, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical team. Procedures include but not limited to: procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, GI, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current RN license for the state of New Jersey.

• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

• BLS, ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
