Part‑time Curriculum Specialist – K‑12 Math – Pacific Territory (Fresno, CA). The role supports the Fresno market, requires on‑site customer meetings, and is limited to candidates who reside within the market. Responsibilities focus on delivering sales presentations, training pilots, activating programs, and building lasting client relationships.

• Deliver winning presentations for each sales cycle, including the six customer touch points:
  • Exhibits and conferences
  • Pre‑work and issue‑setting workshops
  • Meetings and campaigns
  • Pilots
  • Sales presentations
  • Program activation
• Provide pilot activation trainings and ongoing communication and support for pilot teachers.
• Provide customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams.
• Maintain content‑level expertise through Savvas Learning Company certification and related materials.
• Deliver program activation trainings for new and ongoing customer accounts.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Savvas Learning Company’s print and digital solutions.
• Maintain positive, ongoing relationships with customers during the sales cycle and beyond to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

• 5+ years of K‑12 education experience, including classroom teaching.
• BS or BA;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Biliterate in English and Spanish preferred.
• Specialty training or advanced certification preferred.
• Expert knowledge of education theory and market trends in K‑12 Math.
• Deep knowledge and passion for K‑12 education.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver winning presentations in large and small groups.
• Previous experience selling and servicing in the education market is desirable.
• Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations for teachers, parents, district administrators, superintendents, or adoption committees.
• Strong technology skills, including use of all presentation software and hardware (PC or Mac, whiteboard technology, and 1:1 devices) to develop and deliver multimedia presentations.

• Regional travel may be required with short notice.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Monitor and control timekeeping and expenses in accordance with Savvas Learning Company Travel and Entertainment policies.
• Collaborate with sales, services, operations, and other departments to address customer satisfaction issues and ensure customer success.
• Self‑starter; may be responsible for self‑directed training and preparedness.
• Ability to have pointed conversations with school districts in the K‑12 Math area.
• Understand sales campaign strategy, market trends, and the full continuum of Savvas Learning Company services to better understand the customer and audience.
