Parts Counterperson – Lamborghini Paramus

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Qualifications
  • Experience with auto parts sales (preferred), social media savvy and able to post to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Parts internet sales experience preferred (posting parts to eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon).
  • Have a genuine commitment to job, energetic, be able to take initiative and show enthusiasm/high energy level.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
  • Think outside the box.
  • Communicate with customers on parts status.
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Review body shop estimates to ensure the parts ordered are correct and pricing aligns with the estimate.
  • Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock.
  • Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
  • Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick‑up.
