Summary
The Salesperson helps customers discover fashion and styling options while building lasting customer relationships both in-store and digitally. The role supports sales goals and maintains a customer-ready department.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales goals through in-store and digital selling tools.
- Build customer relationships and provide thoughtful service and style and fit advice.
- Develop fashion and product knowledge and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
- Fill orders, stock and re-merchandise products, process markdowns, and perform light cleaning.
- Work flexible hours and assist other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
- Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to work on a team, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting items up to 25 pounds.
