Direct Support Professional Opportunity
Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Bergen County.
Looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity where your experience and dedication truly matter? We're looking for a dependable, confident, and hands-on DSP who is ready to make a positive impact and get started as soon as possible!
This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.
We're looking for someone mature, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative in a one-to-one support setting. Previous DSP experience is required, and we're looking for someone who can step in confidently, provide reliable support, and build a positive connection with the individual.
What You'll Do:
- Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
- Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
- Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs.
- Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
- Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
Qualifications:
- Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
- Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
- Experience required.
- Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.
Schedule:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 PM–6 PM. Pay: $19–$22/hr location:
Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. Driving on shift:
Required.
