Job Summary: The Producer/Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business and managing existing client revenue retention and growth based upon assigned book of prospects and clients.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify sales leads generated from a variety of sources.
- Manage overall client relationship to drive client satisfaction and organic growth.
- Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge in the employee benefits.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their workforce demographics, organizational goals, and benefits priorities.
- Manage overall client relationship;
Drive consistent and predictable profitability, client satisfaction and organic growth. - Demonstrate technical knowledge necessary to communicate our solutions effectively.
- Provide advice and strategic thinking on design and customization of employee benefits packages based on the client needs.
- Facilitate the open enrollment process, including communication strategies, deployment of enrollment tools and employee education.
- Work collaboratively with all internal teams and departments at Dimond Bros.
- Ensure accurate and timely policy documentation and administration in accordance to Dimond Bros. Standard Operating Procedures and Insurance Industry Standards.
- Understand and communicate client objectives and needs to Benefit Account Executive teammates.
Position Requirements
- Strong and/or developing understanding of employee benefits.
- Strong oral and written communication and relationship building skills essential
- Must be personable, highly motivated to grow personal success
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong visibility within the HR and benefits community.
- Ability to cold call to set appointments with potential clients
- Ability to source referrals through industry related events and networking
- Ability to work with minimal direction and in a team environment
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
- A consultative, positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospect, clients and associates.
- Excellent listening skills with strong customer focus.
- Must be goal-oriented.
- Ability to work with senior-level management and have a top-level executive presence.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Education And Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier, or related business to business sales, including calling on senior executives and a track record of financial success
- Life and Health Insurance License
- College degree preferred
