Overview
Illinois Sales Representative at Dinges Fire Company – plan and execute all sales activities on assigned accounts or territory. Build and maintain relationships with Fire and EMT decision‑makers, ensuring customer satisfaction and high quality service delivery.
Responsibilities- Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
- Schedule sales activities and make calls to new and existing customers.
- Develop presentations and negotiate with clients, creating proposals and responding to inquiries electronically, by phone, or in person.
- Follow up on sales activity, monitor and report activities, and maintain good client relationships.
- Participate in sales events and training.
- Knowledge of fire service equipment, basic computer applications, customer service principles, and basic business principles.
- Planning and strategizing, adaptability, verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, resilience and tenacity, goal‑driven.
Independent contractor – 1099. Earn approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale, with unlimited earnings potential. Full‑time or part‑time opportunities – most representatives are also firefighters, but this is not mandatory.
