JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigate maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area; handle adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.

TRAINING

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS

• Perform basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use written, verbal, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate visual and manual tasks rapidly for precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Read maps and navigate the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain.

WORK CONDITIONS EXPOSURE TO

• Adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
• Sudden temperature changes in work area and outdoors.
• Food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces and tools up to 500°F.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far and night vision for driving.

  :
  Move trays on dollies (24″–30″, up to 7.5 lb force); trays may be pulled.

  Navigate stairs or ladder to maintain signs, wash walls, perform maintenance; delivery may require 5+ flights of stairs.
