Bourbon Community Hospital

Bourbon Community Hospital has an immediate full-time opening for a master’s level clinician (QMHP) to be part of our Mobile Assessment Crisis Team. This person would provide assessments, conduct pre-commitment investigations, and provide dispositions as well as work with a team to provide hospital based Med/Surg, ICU and ED assessments in Bourbon, Clark, Scott and other surrounding counties. This person would also facilitate referrals in the community.

Must have QMHP certification.

Professional License: LPCC or LCSW or RN - BC (PMH)

• Provide assessments, conduct pre-commitment investigations, and provide dispositions as well as work with a team to provide hospital based Med/Surg, ICU and ED assessments in Bourbon, Clark, Scott and other surrounding counties. Facilitate referrals in the community.

• Must have a master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology with current clinical license. Three years of inpatient or outpatient clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health practice. Prior experience with mental health crisis response preferred. Demonstrated skills in assessment tools and crisis intervention.
• Strong communication and writing skills. Highly organized, and effectively manages multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Professionally articulate in communicating (oral and written) service expectations, strengths and needs of clients and outcomes.
• Must have access to reliable transportation. Must possess a valid KY driver’s license.

This is a full time position which requires flexible work hours.
