Solvents Packaging Operators

Solvents Packaging Operator – Full-time Contract (2nd Shift)

• Operate automated and manual lines to fill, case, and stack products ranging from 4-liter bottles up to 55-gallon drums.
• Place empty bottles on the converter.
• Place filled bottles in cases and stack cases on pallets.
• Perform manual filling operations from drum jacks.
• Take particle count samples and run particle count tests.
• Monitor and assist assigned packaging operations to maintain quality standards.
• Stop the line and notify the Quality Assurance Department of any contamination events.
• Strictly adhere to all safety precautions and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and long sleeves at all times.
• Comply with all cGMP requirements.
• Manage hazardous and universal waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (RCRA training highly beneficial).
• Maintain accurate production records.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1–3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a chemical plant.
• Mechanical ability.
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem analysis skills.
• Critical decision‑making and multi‑tasking ability.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday)
• Hours:
  
  3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (initial orientation/training may occur on the day shift).
