We seek an Assembler based in Paris, KY who will adhere to safety standards, set up equipment, and follow the production schedule to meet customer needs.
- Assemble and package Ramset products per process specifications and coach’s instructions.
- Proficiently maintain machinery through basic preventive maintenance, lubrication, etc.
- Perform all quality checks according to MIIs and quality specification sheets. Track and document quality checks and scrap for assigned equipment as required.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot assembly equipment in the assembly department.
- Weigh/count parts, place cartons into bulk shippers, seal, label, and place on skid.
- Use various hand tools for machine adjustments and set-ups (pliers, screwdriver, wrenches).
- Follow all prescribed safety/housekeeping practices and procedures. Identify and tag safety hazards on machinery and in the work area. Perform 5-S activities and improvements as required. Track machine downtime per shift.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in team events and meetings.
- This position may be assigned other duties as needed to support the plant and meet customer needs.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Must be able to work up to 40 hours (7:30 PM to 6:00 AM) with occasional overtime, no more than 12 hours per day;
Saturdays may be required. - Ability to understand basic machinery. Less than a year of manufacturing experience (including setup, operation, changeover, use of measurement tools, and knowledge of preventive maintenance) preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to perform basic math (addition and subtraction).
- Must be able to recognize and identify parts, problems, and offer solutions.
- Must be able to read blueprints/specification sheets and follow instructions.
- Must be able to complete supplemental training (e.g., blueprint reading, technical math, measurement tools).
- Basic English communication skills (read, write, and speak).

Compensation & BenefitsThe starting pay for this position is $17.50 per hour plus $2.00 third shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and life insurance programs, 401(k) with company match and additional employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off.
