About the Role

We are seeking an Influence Director to spearhead and grow the influencer marketing business for Monks Paris. As the external face of our local Influence expertise, you will embody our vision at keynotes, industry events, and high-stakes client meetings. This role is a critical growth engine for the French market. You will lead a Paris-based team of 5, driving operational excellence and collaborating on select EMEA-wide projects and solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative culture for the Paris-based team; secure, and streamline internal workflows to reliably execute increasingly large-scope projects featuring hundreds of influencers simultaneously.
  • Oversee the selection, evaluation, and transition of influencer marketing platforms and tech tools used by the local team, collaborating with international counterparts
  • Act as the external ambassador for Monks’ Influence offering in France, representing the agency at public events, keynotes, and industry panels, while acting as the strategic lead on complex, high-budget pitches.
  • Provide top-tier strategic support to major local and global accounts, ensuring innovative creator strategies drive measurable business growth.
  • Partner closely with Parisian cross-functional teams (Operations, Strategy, Creative, Data, and Paid Media) to build robust, integrated connections and to plan strategies that bridge owned, earned, and paid media.
  • Coordinate with the wider EMEA network to help standardize local scopes and processes, ensuring Paris benefits from and contributes to regional best practices.
  • Educate and advocate for the Paris team’s latest solutions and operational successes to leadership and account leads, unlocking organic upsell opportunities within existing portfolios.
  • Design and lead workshops with partner platforms, clients, and content creators to leverage emerging social trends, performance tools, and content dynamics for new commercial products.
About You

The essentials:

  • 7-10+ years of experience spanning social media strategy, strategic planning, and dedicated influencer marketing management within fast-paced digital, creative, or activation agencies.
  • Proven leadership track record, with experience managing multi-level teams (including senior and junior profiles) and driving local market growth.
  • Deep experience managing large-scale, high-volume creator campaigns, with a sharp eye for legal, financial, and operational workflows.
  • Highly confident in external-facing environments, with the charisma and communication skills required to command a room at keynotes, industry events, or C-level client presentations.
  • Strong understanding of how influence intersects with paid media amplification, social data analytics, and overall brand strategy.
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English is mandatory, as you will navigate the local Parisian ecosystem while seamlessly connecting with our international network.
