We are hiring teachers certified in the U.S. for Grades K-12 French for the  school year.

About the Role

We are seeking teachers who are certified to teach in one of the following states or are willing to seek reciprocity in one of these states:
Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin.

Compensation & Work Arrangements

• Independent Contractor (1099) - no benefits provided or taxes withheld.
• Paid per hourly session taught. Rates, which include prep/admin time, start at $36 per hourly session (pay varies per program and class details).
• Part-time hours generally 10‑20 teaching hours per week.
• Choose your own schedule and build long‑term relationships with students.
• Fully remote – teach from home.

Expectations

• Flexible schedule, adaptable to classes starting throughout the semester; most teach 10‑20 hrs/week, building up over the year.
• Commitment and consistency in attendance; teachers are the teacher of record.
• Professionalism in classroom environment and communication with Classroom Coach, teachers, and school staff.
• Critical thinking, adaptability, and meeting deadlines.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable operating remotely.
• Reliable internet and appropriate professional environment.

Mandatory Requirements

• Passion for teaching.
• Active, verifiable US teaching certification in French for K‑12.
• Teaching experience with K‑12 students.
• Residence in the United States during 2025‑2026.
• At least 3 consecutive hours available daily, Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4pm EST.
• Ready to work part‑time schedule of 10‑20 hrs/week during normal school hours.
• Laptop/Desktop with reliable high‑speed internet.
