Role Overview: We're looking for a Staff Accountant II to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and performing accounting tasks to support the accounting team.
STARTING PAYRATE: $60,000-$70,000 per year
PRIMARY
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
* Depending on demand, in some instances, extended work hours may be needed
What You'll Do:- Prepare, maintain, and update general ledger entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and five or more years related experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
