Responsibilities include:

Providing weekend coverage primarily through ER call and inpatient procedures Conducting outpatient surgeries as needed Managing acute surgical cases during assigned call shifts Collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Skills:

Valid medical license and board certification in General Surgery Proven experience in ER and inpatient surgical care Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with outpatient surgical procedures Advanced certifications or specialized training in trauma or emergency surgery Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a general surgery residency program Minimum of 3 years of post-residency surgical experience Other Requirements:
Available for weekend call shifts, typically Friday 7 am through Monday 7 am, twice a month Willingness to work in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient setting Candidate proximity to the site will be considered a preference Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the applicable state This is an excellent opportunity to elevate your surgical career while making a difference in patients lives.
