Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr. This range is provided by WSB. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Lead and support design of tunnels, shafts, and related underground structures.
• Perform geotechnical and structural analyses, including ground-structure interaction and lining design.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports for municipal tunneling projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver creative and constructible solutions.
• Support clients during the full project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, risk assessments, and construction support.
• Develop cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Stay current with evolving tunneling technologies, codes, and standards.

You will also have opportunities to serve as a technical lead or client manager
, representing WSB in high-profile infrastructure programs or projects.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5+ years of experience in tunneling design, underground structures, or related projects.
• Knowledge of tunneling methods (TBM, SEM/NATM, microtunneling, cut-and-cover, etc.).
• Experience with design tools such as PLAXIS, FLAC, Geo Studio, or STAAD.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Experience supporting infrastructure projects (water, wastewater, utilities, transportation).
• Hands-on exposure to construction support and monitoring for tunneling projects.
• Familiarity with project permitting and funding sources.
