We are seeking a talented Application Support Analyst to join our team and provide global production support for critical trading platforms across FX and ETD (Exchange-Traded Derivatives). This role is based on the trading floor
, directly interfacing with traders, quants, and sales teams. You will act as the primary IT contact for daily operations and help ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of front-office applications.
Role and responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical and functional support for FX and Derivatives trading platforms, including algorithmic trading tools and order routing systems.
- Monitor platform stability and performance, ensuring high availability, low latency, and reliable connectivity to markets
- Act as the first point of contact for incidents, resolving production issues and coordinating with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
- Manage application releases, deployments, and post-rollout validation to ensure seamless integration into production environments.
- Support client FIX connectivity, OMS/EMS workflows, and post-trade STP processes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to drive system improvements, enhance platform resilience, and optimize functional capabilities.
- Participate in change management activities, including planning, documentation, and coordination of production updates.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing, maintain up-to-date documentation, and follow global best practices for application support.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
- Minimum 2.5 years of post-graduate experience in the financial industry.
- Ideally a solid understanding of financial markets, especially FX and Derivatives
. - Experience with FIX protocol
, Linux
, scripting (e.g., Bash/Python), and network protocols. - Knowledge of algorithmic trading, pricing engines, and market connectivity.
- Familiarity with OMS/EMS platforms, STP flows, and post-trade environments.
- Strong understanding of incident/problem resolution, release management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
- Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.

- The salary range for this role is US $100,000 - US $140,000
