Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDays shift with various start times, featuring guaranteed hours of 36-40 per week. On-call shifts will be in rotation with the PACU crew.
Job DescriptionJoin our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role focuses on the care of patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery. You will be responsible for monitoring patient recovery, managing post-operative care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the PACU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and recovery progress.
- Administer medications and interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU required.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- Current RN licensure in Texas is required.
