Position Title
: EVS Representative

Job Purpose
:
Responsible for attending to the cleaning and stocking needs of assigned area(s) of the property.

• Dust, sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty wastebaskets and clean assigned areas.
• Clean bathrooms, scrub, wax, and strip floors as assigned.
• Sweep stairwells and other areas, attend to special projects as requested.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture as needed.
• Clean machines; empty and clean ashtrays.
• Assist in transportation of trash, dirty glasses, and linens to designated areas.
• Assist in minor maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, unplugging toilets) and report problems to EVS Lead or Supervisor.
• Re‑stock paper supplies, chemical supplies; maintain washroom supplies.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping storage rooms.
• Inspect work areas, identify potential problems, notify EVS Supervisor for maintenance scheduling.
• Facilitate flow of information through department by attending regularly scheduled meetings.
• Adhere to performance standards, company policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent attendance record, promote positive customer relations, maintain confidentiality, communicate with co‑workers, management, guests, perform additional duties as necessary.

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent; previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands.
• Reliable, punctual, collaborative with co‑workers and managers.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in high noise level and secondhand smoke environments.
• Effective communication with co‑workers, management, guests.
• Professional demeanor in high‑stress environment.
• Speak and communicate effectively with individuals and groups before people.
• Use appropriate English standards for verbal communication.
• Ability to calculate figures and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
• Qualify for required licenses or permits.
