** Engine Field Technician
** is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing and rebuilding diesel and compression gas engines in the field to provide an excellent customer experience.
** Min: $26.28 to $58.30 / Hourly

** What You Will Do in This Role:
*** Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on engines as well as diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustment
* Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads and available for after-hours calls as needed
* Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order
* Create a work environment that is considerate of the customer’s needs
* Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations and customers
** Physical & Working Requirements
*** This role involves hands-on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include:
* Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance
* Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance
* Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materials
* Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights
* Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods
* Safely operating tools and equipment
** Our Ideal Candidate:
*** Expreince working in a field enviroment on compression engines
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, schematics, line diagrams and other related publications.
* Ability to drive and valid license required with ability to obtain CDL
** What will put you ahead:
*** Experience with all makes and models of engine rebuilds (CAT and/or Waukesha)
* Stable work history
* Ability to foster positive relationships internally and externally
