Loss Prevention Officer - Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The hotel offers 436 luxury accommodations, 381 guest rooms, 55 residences, and 22 suites, alongside extensive meeting, dining, and recreational amenities.

The Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of hotel guests and employees, following safety and security standards, and completing incident reports as required. This position follows a schedule of four 10‑hour shifts per week, offering a balanced work‑life routine.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid certification in CPR and first aid, or ability to obtain certification.
• Certification in alcohol awareness program, or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Previous security experience preferred.
