Job Description & How to Apply Below

Mannino Cabinetry is seeking a Field Technician / Millwork Site Coordinator to support our growing custom cabinetry and architectural millwork division.

This position will serve as the primary link between our cabinet shop and active jobsites. The ideal candidate has hands‑on carpentry or cabinet installation experience, is comfortable working independently in the field, and is organized enough to coordinate with installers, finishers, builders, and our internal production team.

The goal of this position is to ensure jobsites are properly prepared for installation, installations run smoothly, and smaller field items can be completed without pulling our cabinetmakers away from shop production.

Responsibilities
  • Visit jobsites prior to installation to verify site conditions and readiness
  • Perform field measurements and verify critical dimensions against approved shop drawings
  • Complete pre‑installation site checklists and identify potential issues before cabinetry is delivered
  • Coordinate with cabinet installers, finishers, builders, and other trades during installation and completion
  • Install decorative hardware including knobs, pulls, and related accessories
  • Complete punch‑list and service items after installation
  • Perform small cabinet and millwork installations as needed
  • Install or replace fillers, panels, trim, moldings, hardware, and other miscellaneous components
  • Troubleshoot minor field issues and determine when additional shop involvement is required
  • Coordinate and assist with cabinetry and material deliveries
  • Verify completed work and communicate outstanding items back to the project team
  • Document field conditions, measurements, damage, missing components, and other jobsite issues
  • Maintain tools, hardware, and commonly needed field supplies
  • Assist cabinetmakers with fabrication, assembly, sanding, preparation, and general shop work when field work is not required
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in carpentry, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, architectural millwork, or a related trade preferred
  • Working knowledge of cabinetry and basic construction methods
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure, laser, level, and other common layout tools
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and construction drawings
  • Capable of completing smaller installations and repairs independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Organized and able to document and communicate jobsite conditions clearly
  • Professional and comfortable interacting with homeowners, builders, designers, subcontractors, and other trades
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to safely lift and move cabinetry, materials, and equipment
What We're Looking For

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys both hands‑on carpentry and jobsite coordination. You should be comfortable identifying a problem, communicating it clearly, and handling smaller issues yourself rather than simply reporting them back to the shop.

We are looking for someone dependable, organized, mechanically capable, and able to represent Mannino Cabinetry professionally on high‑end residential jobsites.

This is not strictly an installation position. Some days may involve site measurements and coordinating subcontractors, while others may involve hardware installation, punch‑list work, deliveries, small installations, or assisting our cabinetmakers in the shop.

Compensation

$28–$38 per hour, based on experience. Overtime paid for hours over 40 per week.

Benefits
  • 100% employer‑paid health insurance premiums for the employee (family coverage available at the employee's cost)
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off: 10 days per year, plus paid holidays
  • Company vehicle provided for field work
Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday–Friday, with occasional additional hours as project schedules require.
