Staff Accountant – Temp to Hire

We're working with a fantastic client in the pet retail and manufacturing industry to find a Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization and contribute to a collaborative, detail-oriented accounting team.

Base Pay Range

$26.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, including expense reports.
  • Oversee credit card management and reconciliation.
  • Perform entries and adjustments within the general ledger.
  • Assist with month‑end close and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Ideal Candidate
  • 2‑3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong General Ledger (GL) knowledge.
  • Sage 100 experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Concur for expense reporting is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
