Description Orthodontic Assistant for our Parker Office Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, friendly Orthodontic Assistant to support our clinical team and help provide excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the orthodontist during procedures
- Take X-rays, photos, and digital scans
- Prep and clean treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control
- Place/remove archwires, ligatures, and other ortho appliances as allowed
- Provide clear instructions to patients and parents
- Update patient charts and ensure accurate documentation
- Help keep the clinic running smoothly by supporting team needs
- Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification required (state-specific)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
