Dedicated Teacher Position (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). B.A. Parker Public School - Marjorie Mills Public SchoolThe Dedicated Occasional Teacher is a new role within SGDSB that will support B.A. Parker Public School and Marjorie Mills Public School. The Dedicated Occasional Teacher will be required to travel to the other school and must have access to reliable transportation. Return mileage will be paid from the home school which will be determined at the time of hire. This position will be used to support teaching staff who are absent at both sites.
This role will follow the guidance below as a trial position for the remainder of the school year.
Be provided a 40 minute uninterrupted lunch break.
B) A DOT may be scheduled to work up to a maximum of 5 days in advance.
MUST include a resume outlining qualifications, experience and an up-to-date Certificate of Qualification. Applicants must also submit the names of three (3) professional references, one of whom must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, along with telephone numbers and email addresses, and a written authorization from the applicant permitting the Board to contact these references. Information from such persons will be gathered in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
