Job Type: Part-Time, As Needed
Pay:

• $150/day - Without Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License

• $165/day - With CDE License

• $190/day - Colorado PERA Retirees

• $200/day - Long-Term Assignments

Position Overview:
Global Village Academy is seeking reliable and flexible Substitute Teachers to support our students when regular classroom teachers are absent. Substitutes follow the teacher's lesson plans, maintain classroom routines, and help ensure a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Front Desk/Administrative Assistant upon arrival

• Follow the classroom teacher's lesson plans and school curriculum

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly classroom

• Take attendance and manage classroom records as needed

• Monitor and manage student behavior

• Leave the classroom clean and organized

• Communicate with school staff and administration as appropriate

• Follow all school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university preferred

• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Substitute License preferred

• Strong classroom management skills

• Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels and settings

• Dependable, professional, and student-focused
