FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $42.01 - $58.82 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a relocation bonus.
SUMMARY :
  • Unique opportunity to join the #1 Hospital and only academic medical center in the state of Colorado.
  • The UCH Echocardiography Laboratory maintains accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in adult transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.
  • Enormously fulfilling career with growth opportunity, including, but not limited to teaching junior cardiac sonographers and general cardiology fellows, participating in research projects, giving presentations at the biweekly echo conference.
  • Participate in teaching, research, and echo conferences.
  • Work in a supportive, fast-paced academic environment with balanced workload.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR associate's degree in allied health OR Bachelor's degree in any area.
  • Required Licensure/Certification:
    Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Minimum Experience:

    None Required. 1 year preferred.
  • Credentials:
    Registered Sonographer, Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
