Functional Tester (QA I)

Rate: $30/hour

The Service Activation team at our Fortune 500 client is looking to bring on a Functional tester to help with end-to-end testing for customer device activation. This individual will be doing manual testing to ensure customer billing and device activation is done properly.

• 2+ years of experience with testing
• 1+ year of device testing experience for devices like routers, set top boxes, etc
• Experience creating testing with a strong ability to transform a requirement into a test case
• Experience with testing tools like JIRA or Octane
• Previous experience working in telecom/ cable industry
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to learn quickly

• Owning the end to end testing to support customer activation journey
• Developing test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports
• Perform testing to ensure accuracy and that all services are working properly on devices
• Utilize tools including JIRA and Octane
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Will be a two step interview process. One interview with the hiring manager and one panel interview.

• Interviews will start in January

There are about 45 people total on the team right now. 13 sit in St. Louis, 10 sit in Denver and the rest are offshore
