About Zephyr Behavioral Health & Wellness

Zephyr Behavioral Health & Wellness is a dynamic, rapidly growing mental health practice in Colorado dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed care philosophy, our practice provides a full continuum of services—ranging from traditional medication management and individual psychotherapy to innovative, specialized modalities including Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and psychedelic-assisted therapies (such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy).

We foster a collaborative, supportive work culture where clinical excellence, interdisciplinary teamwork, and continuous professional growth are deeply valued.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, empathetic, and forward-thinking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in diagnostic evaluation and psychopharmacology, coupled with an appreciation for integrative and trauma-informed patient care.

In this role, you will work within a hybrid care model, delivering high-quality psychiatric care both virtually and in-person across our Colorado patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing medication management across diverse clinical presentations.
  • Multidisciplinary

    Collaboration:

Partner closely with psychotherapists, nurse coaches, and administrative staff to design and deliver cohesive, integrated treatment plans.
  • Specialized Modalities: Participate in care plans involving advanced interventions, such as Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), TMS, Spravato and psychedelic-assisted therapeutic modalities where applicable.
  • EHR & Documentation: Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation using the Osmind EHR platform.
  • Quality Improvement & Practice Growth: Actively contribute to team consultations, case conferences, clinical peer reviews, and ongoing quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Clinical

    Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years of active, post-licensure clinical experience as a practicing PMHNP.
  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered Colorado PMHNP license with valid RXN prescriptive authority.
  • Federal Registration: Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
  • Board Certification: PMHNP Board Certification (PMHNP-BC) through the ANCC or AANPBC.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills and comfort with electronic health records (prior experience with Osmind EHR is highly desirable).
  • Core Competencies: Strong diagnostic acumen, excellent interpersonal communication, and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
Total Rewards & Benefits Package

We offer a comprehensive, competitive compensation and benefits structure designed to support our clinicians' health, well-being, and long-term career satisfaction:

  • Compensation: Base salary range of $120,000 – $130,000 per year (W-2), supplemented by additional productivity and RVU bonus opportunities.
  • Health Coverage: Comprehensive Health Insurance through United Healthcare, with optional Dental and Vision coverage.
  • Life & AD&D Insurance: 100% employer-paid $50,000 Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) policy.
  • Liability Protection: Full professional malpractice insurance coverage provided.
  • Continuing

    Education:

Annual CME stipend of $500 per year for professional development and conference attendance.
  • Practice Environment: Flexible scheduling (4x10 or 5x8 models), manageable caseloads, peer consultation groups, and a supportive administrative infrastructure.
