American Traveler is hiring an Oncology RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a compact RN license and oncology chemotherapy certification.

• 32-bed oncology unit caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
• 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to Med Surg, Cardiac, and Neuro Joint Spine units, as well as other regional locations (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Oncology List D chemotherapy certificate required
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses) or approved declination required for consideration

• Provide direct care to oncology patients across the adolescent to geriatric age spectrum
• No radius rule in place, and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Permanent employees must be separated from employment for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• If floating to another site, staff will be notified at least 2 hours prior to the shift
• Subject to facility call-off policy, which may result in rescheduling to another weekend or holiday shift if a weekend or holiday shift is missed
