** FSC Director
** position.
Goal of the position is to provide community-based family support services aimed at preventing the risk of child abuse and neglect and juvenile delinquency by promoting nurturing families and preventing at-risk families from having children removed from the home. Family support services are defined as community- based preventive activities designed to promote parental competencies and behaviors that will increase the ability of families to nurture their children;

enable families to use other resources and opportunities available in the community; create supportive networks that enhance the child-rearing abilities of parents, help compensate for the increased social isolation and vulnerability of families, strengthen parental relationships and promote healthy marriages. Requirements include:
Associate’s degree in Human Services field or High School diploma with minimum of 2 years’ demonstrated experience working with families and children in the target population, driver’s license, available automobile and insurance coverage as required by law and agency, training required by agency, background and child and adult abuse registry checks, ability to work under pressure and multitask, and registered with WV STARS.

Preferred qualification is a Bachelors Degree in Social Work..
