Physician - Medical Director of Non-invasive Cardiology​/Imaging; CCMC

Overview

The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek non-invasive cardiologists (ranks: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for faculty positions in Parkersburg, WV.

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may be assigned to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. Travel would be anticipated to fulfill duties at these sites.

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services as part of the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute.
• Teach medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
• Participate in clinical research opportunities.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive heart and vascular care.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license.
• Board certified in internal medicine and board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease.
• Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI.
• All qualifications must be met by time of appointment.
