Our client has built its reputation on meeting the diverse demands of its customer base. They manufacture all different types of products that people use daily. This is your chance to be a key player in their product development and manufacturing processes to create a quality product. Currently, our client is looking for a Chemical Materials Engineer.

• Create lab trials for products and conduct lab tests and evaluations
• Choose material makeup that allows for manufacturability and quality
• Assist with developing new processes by generating process parameters, ensuring adequate materials, creating SOPs, etc.
• Ensure full-scale processes create products comparable to lab trials
• Perform quality tests during initial production and adjust processes to improve product quality
• Work with production to troubleshoot process issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Other project duties as needed such as technical reports

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials, or similar
• Previous experience with product and/or process development in chemical process or lab environment
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
