To provide a high - level of care to critically ill patients while transporting them to healthcare facilities. Critical Care Paramedics have an expanded scope of practice allowing them to administer more medications than normal paramedics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE- WV:
Paramedic through the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services
- WV:
Paramedic through National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (Unless state license is State License Only (SLO))
