12 hour night shifts with weekend requirements as scheduled. Self-scheduling is permitted.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Telemetry Nurse for our fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will manage patients with various cardiac issues, supporting care before and after procedures.
Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions.
Perform admissions and discharges, managing high patient volume efficiently.
Administer medications and titrate Heparin as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Utilize clinical judgment to read cardiac strips and respond to codes as necessary.
Assist with daily living activities as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
Experience with telemetry monitoring and strong knowledge of cardiac conditions.
Ability to read cardiac strips and provide emergency care.
Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
