Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous electronic monitoring of heart activity and related assessments. The position supports a fast-paced unit managing post-procedural and medical cardiac patients.

  ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association);
  Minimum experience required: 2 years;

• Schedule:
  
  12-hour day shifts, weekends as scheduled, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include reading EKG strips, managing patients with arrhythmias, CHF, COPD, post heart caths, and other cardiac conditions
• Nurses may need to titrate Heparin and occasionally Lasix or Bumex capable of reviewing medical monitoring data is essential
• Unit requires one day of computer training, followed by shadowing, then independent work
• Floating may be required to other hospital units within skillset, including ICU and Stepdown, with all float shifts incorporated into rotation
• Dress code:
  Royal blue scrubs; scrub jackets optional but must be actual scrub jackets if worn
• Additional notes:
  The unit emphasizes teamwork, with a high patient turnover rate, and team members actively assist each other.

Cross Country Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
