Unarmed Security Officer

Parkersburg, WV

Monday and Friday 12am-7am / Saturday and Sunday 12am-8am

$12.24 per hour

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and observant Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a professional facility. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong situational awareness, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm and effective during both routine duties and unexpected situations.

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the facility during overnight hours.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and general activity to ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Conduct regular patrols to detect safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and security leadership.
• Uphold all company procedures, confidentiality requirements, and safety protocols.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior security experience preferred
  ; military or law enforcement background a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Ability to remain alert, composed, and attentive throughout overnight shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand, walk, and conduct foot patrols for extended periods.
• Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

HS Diploma
GED or H.S. Equivalent

This is a Full and Part-Time position 3rd Shift
