Technician Apprentice

The Technician Apprentice is responsible for supporting various activities engaged in by field personnel onsite at client locations.

• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company and customer safety standards and practices, and legal regulations. Alerts others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s core values.
• Assists technicians, senior technicians, and operations in various onsite service responsibilities.
• Provides service and customer support during site assignments.
• Supports all onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and evaluation tasks.
• Assists in diagnosing errors or problems and observes field personnel to determine appropriate solutions.
• Documents all field service activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of previous experience in an industrial or plant environment preferred.
• May require periodic travel out of town.

• Position is based at a branch or site location.
• Field duties involve indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
• Interaction with crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Work around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Must wear safety equipment as required.
• May work at multiple sites in a day and tolerate climate changes.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to walk and climb, except during non-field duties.
• Effective communication skills, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Sufficient manual dexterity for routine office duties.
• Mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel to off-site locations.
• Ability to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
