Apartment Building Maintenance Worker

Maintain residential apartment and condominium properties onsite using cleaning, repair, and safety inspection skills. This physically demanding position requires English communication.

Work as an Apartment Building Maintenance Worker across residential apartment or condominium complexes and various locations. The position requires three to less than five years of experience and a one-to-two-year college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma. Duties include cleaning, minor systems repairs, appliance repairs, vacancy advertising, apartment showings, and routine property maintenance. You will work with minimal supervision while contacting contractors or tradespersons for major repairs.

• Clean hallways, floors, stairs, windows, walls, ceilings, and bathrooms
• Adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Contact contractors and tradespersons for repairs and maintenance
• Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

• Three to less than five years of experience
• One-to-two-year college or non-university certificate or diploma
• Valid driver's licence and own transportation
• Ability to handle loads up to 23 kilograms
• Criminal record check and personal tools
