Position: Qualified School Psychologist Role
Enhance educational outcomes as a School Psychologist in the Qualicum School District. This role focuses on comprehensive assessment methods and strategic collaboration to aid student development.

Commencing January 1, 2027, this full-time continuing position requires a Master's degree in school or educational psychology. You will apply both formal and informal assessment techniques to address the needs of identified students. Working closely with staff and families, your insights will inform interventions and the development of tailored educational plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments for referred students

• Collaborate with educators to develop intervention strategies

• Use diverse assessment data for effective program planning

• Interpret data for identification and referral needs

• Act as a liaison between families and school staff

Requirements:

• A Master's degree with a focus on school psychology

• Registration in the College of Psychologists of BC by May 1, 2024

• Ability to administer individual intelligence tests

• Experience in educational settings with a focus on assessment

• Skilled in creating recommendations for student support
