Protect Island Health in Parksville as a part-time Security Guard using access control, patrols, and surveillance monitoring. Wednesday to Friday afternoon shifts run 16:30 to 23:30.
Commissionaires seeks a security professional for its Island Health site in Parksville. You will monitor facility access, conduct patrols, operate CCTV and alarm systems, and respond to incidents. The work also includes customer service, report writing, and communication with supervisors and security personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor facility access and verify identification
- Conduct regular premises patrols
- Operate CCTV cameras and alarm systems
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Prepare incident reports and daily logs
- Valid British Columbia Security Workers Licence or willingness to obtain
- Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol extensively
