The Qualicum School District seeks on-call Child and Youth Care Workers to assist throughout the schools. This position involves working with at-risk students, offering guidance, support, and intervention strategies.
Your role may include collaboration with teams and outside agencies, helping to implement individualized interventions and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide social emotional support to students and families
• Design and implement individualized interventions
• Work with families on assessments and crisis intervention
• Maintain communication with outside agencies
• Assist in delivering educational goals and objectives
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth Care
• One year related experience
• Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate
• Class 5 BC driver’s licence
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
