Position: Support Worker for Youth
Join Bonaventure Support Services as a Community Housing Support Worker in Parksville, where you'll assist youth with diverse abilities live independently and thrive in their community.

This full-time, live-in role focuses on providing personalized support for daily activities, building life skills, and creating opportunities for youth. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, you will foster connections between individuals and their families while promoting healthy relationships within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily living activities and health support

• Assist in life skills development for independence

• Implement positive behavioral strategies and interventions

• Work with families and partners for comprehensive care

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Social Services or related field

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience supporting individuals with diverse capabilities

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle

• RCMP Criminal Record Check and First Aid certifications
