Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Perring Parkway is looking for a Dental Assistant with prior experience to join our mission-evaluated practice.

Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of the care team, supporting office operations and assisting professional dental staff during treatments. You will help provide excellent care and memorable experiences to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist surgeons during procedures.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
  • Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Ensure compliance with infection‑control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and intake (if needed).
  • Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
Qualifications

Candidate must have completed a one‑year certified dental assistant program or possess six months of on‑the‑job experience with supporting documentation.

Additional qualifications:

  • Completion of X‑ray certification.
  • Nitrous oxide certification is highly recommended.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection‑control training are required by law.
